Ammo prices
« on: January 30, 2018, 08:15:41 PM »
Is it just me, or is everything running $20/box at ranges?

Seems the same regardless of caliber.

And ranges donít want you shooting any ammo but theirs... even if itís the same brand.

I know there are 3 ammo makers in the US. Is there any variation in pricing geographically? I hear stories about ammo shortages pre-elections as people stock up for their Armaggeddon scenarios, or drops in gun pricing due to non-Armaggeddon, etc. Has there ever been industry price-fixing? Do some companies consistently beat others in price?

I donít know if thereís an ammo price tracker but I have yet to find one.

Plenty of online sources for ammo. I use bulkammo.com.

Happy to help - https://ammoseek.com/

Assuming you live in a state that doesn't hate freedom, you should be able to buy from any number of online dealers that will ship to your door for a reasonable price. Buying in bulk is almost always worth the savings. If you're in MA, your best bet is likely https://www.targetsportsusa.com/
